With her newest release, La Table Qui Était Seule, Valerie Ghent transports you to a café in a small town in France. This modern French chanson by Valerie and French author Christophe Fourvel, was written and recorded during the global lockdown and ongoing pandemic.

Fourvel’s poetic lyrics combined with Valerie’s evocative voice conjure up a cross-Atlantic mix of emotions - sadness, loneliness, and ultimately hope. One can almost imagine the café patrons joining in the refrain, with glasses in the air.

Friends for over 25 years, this is Valerie and Christophe's first collaboration. We can't wait for more.
